We are back from the holiday break and ready to ROAR! Today was an amazing day at Helping Hands. Dinosaurs roamed the classroom, filled the shelves and a few even ate snack with us! By far the most popular activity was: Digging for Dino Bones, (a $1.69 toy I picked up at Christmas Tree shop in NH). Luckily I bought more than one dinosaur fossil, so the fun can continue on throughout the week. :)
On the shelves this week:
size and shape sorting works,
mystery number
a home made work bench with REAL tools (check next post for details)
a meditation space with a nifty battery operated fountain! (gotta LOVE Christmas Tree Shop!)
Junior Paleontologist (digging for bones) work
magnetic dinosaur body puzzle work
Where in the World? Naming the 7 Continents and the dinosaurs who lived there
