Teacher Appreciation Week

In celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week 'Middle Man' has planted some herbs and created a watering can card with a poem attached to give to his teachers.

The poem reads:
"I'm giving you this packet of seeds,
just to let you know,

that every day, my appreciation of you,
continues to grow and grow and grow!"

More ways to show your child's teacher your appreciation coming right up....

ThankU Montessori Mama!
I simply love your blog!
This watering can idea is brilliant!
You being a lover of teapots - must surely have seen a similar idea with teacup and saucer and a wee teabag tucked inside. Also SO clever & quaint.
I too, am a proud MM... in the sense that my precious daughter has found her path: to train to be an M teacher! Whilst studying, she is working part-time in a dear little M school near us...and loving every moment. She and the little ones share such a special relationship and my heart swells with pride when I listen to her stories at the end of each day. Thankyou for sharing many special aspects of your rich tapestry life with us all. Please please continue X

I am constantly amazed by all your ideas. I am suffering from imagination envy ;-)

That is really cute. I love it. What I really like about it is that it is in a mug. I am a teacher and when I started as an aide I got four mugs my first year for Christmas. I appreciated the sentiment, but what was I going to do with so many mugs? I think this is cute that it uses a mug, but there's a pretty plant in there!

Great idea for teachers, would appreciate some more as always think the handmade things especially by the child is so much more personal and has more meaning than the parent just going out and buying something without the child even having any input. I did see a gourd birdhouse on a blog (can't remember which one) I might see if my daughter can try that for Christmas, but need some inspiration for the summer end of year gift.

Dear Plaid Shoes and friends,
You are all very sweet!
Thanks for the feed back I don't know what I would be doing without it. It keeps me posting knowing you read these ideas and want more. I am very blessed and I appreciate all of you for letting me know. Receiving reassurance encourages one's creative process dramatically. Thank you!
